HTC 2v2 Invitational announced

PGL has announced the HTC 2v2 CS:GO Invitational, taking place from May 13-14 at its studio in Bucharest, Romania.

Following up on last year's 1v1 tournament, PGL and HTC have announced a 2v2 competition, with 16 players split into eight teams and a $50,000 prize pool.

The tournament will begin with a GSL group stage, followed by a double-elimination bracket. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format, with the map pool consisting of two retake maps plus one rifle map.

The talent line-up for the event has also been announced by PGL, and it looks as follows:

While the invited players aren't unveiled, here is the prize pool distribution:
