Cyber.Bet Golden League reaches playoffs

Eight Swiss stage teams will be joined by four invited sides in the single-elimination playoff bracket of the $20,000 tournament.
The Cyber.Bet Golden League has been trimmed down to its playoff participants after the conclusion of its 16-team Swiss group stage. The most dominant sides, SKADE and Movistar Riders, advanced with flawless 3-0 records, with both teams dropping just a single map on their way to the next stage.
Izako Boars, Lilmix and NAVI Junior all made it through with one series loss each, while ALTERNATE aTTaX, Giants and SJ survived elimination matches to narrowly lock down the final spots with 3-2 win-loss scores.

The playoff bracket will introduce four invited teams in the second round: HellRaisers, Winstrike, Espada and Copenhagen Flames. All eyes will be on the impressive Russian team, who broke into the top-30 in the rankings on Monday, just 24 hours after qualifying for DreamHack Open December with Abdul "degster" Gasanov leading the way with a tournament-high 1.47 rating.
The opening playoff matches, which will kick off on November 25, are as follows:
